Another entry record – 336 players from 29 nations expected in Berlin

The international German youth badminton championships – the YONEX German Junior 2024 – will take place in the Sportforum Berlin from March 6th – 10th, 2024. The organizer, SG EBT Berlin, can announce another entry record. Currently 336 players have registered. Over the five days of the tournament, the top international U19
badminton talents will enter to demonstrate their skills and compete with the best U19 players from 29 countries.

“We are once again extremely satisfied with the reporting results. In particular, the fact that we can top the nations record from 2023 again is great and we are looking forward to another high-class and well-staffed tournament.”, says the new tournament manager Marcus Köster. “This new registration record and, above all, the
registration of all Asian badminton top nations shows the continued high status of the YONEX German Junior in the world. And of course that makes the entire organization team happy and increases the already high level of anticipation and enthusiasm,” continues Marcus Köster.

Badminton fans can look forward to players from all over the world, especially from the top Asian and European nations such as China, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Denmark, France and England. But exotic badminton players such as those from Costa Rica and the United Arab Emirates also compete in Berlin. The YONEX German Junior
promise extremely high quality and internationality in the field of participants in 2024 and guarantee a badminton event at the highest level. The competitions start on Wednesday, March 6th at 9:00 a.m. The finalists in the five disciplines will then be determined over four days and will compete for the coveted titles on Sunday,
March 10th.

As in previous years, the YONEX German Junior will once again have a lot to offer in the media. In addition to the website www.german-junior.de, the tournament will again be present primarily on social media. News, successes, and surprises are broadcasted to the world via Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. German Junior TV will also be on air again and will provide impressions from the hall in moving images.

The SG EBT Berlin and the German Badminton Association are looking forward to the 14th YONEX German Junior in Berlin and cordially invite all fans and interested parties to follow the tournament live on site in the Great Hall of the Sportforum Berlin and to see the young talents in action see.
