The YONEX German Junior 2021 will not be able to take place this year due to the Corona pandemic and the associated restrictions. In this context, the tournament management commented as follows:
“In consultation with the German Badminton Federation, we have decided not to hold the tournament this year. The health and safety of all players, coaches and officials have the highest priority for us. At the same time, it is our claim to offer a tournament of high sporting and organisational quality, which we can anything but guarantee in these times. However, we are looking ahead full of optimism and zest for action and are looking forward to a continuation of the YONEX German Junior in Berlin in 2022. Until then, we wish all the best and send sporting greetings to all badminton fans. Stay healthy!”
