Kian-Yu Oei (GER) received a special honour during the award ceremonies on the final day. Already at the end of February, Kian-Yu was elected Sportsman of the Year in the Youth. During the YONEX German Junior 2020, Thomas Lohwieser, the Tournament Director, presented him with the award on behalf of the German Badminton Association.
